Data Explorer

ABOUT THE RtR DATA EXPLORER

The RtR Data Explorer is a web application that visualizes the collective impact of resilience-building initiatives across the Race to Resilience Campaign. By presenting data processed through the Campaign's metrics framework, it offers insights into how partners are strengthening communities' ability to adapt to climate change.

DATA SOURCES AND METHODOLOGY

All data presented in the Explorer originates from reports submitted by Race to Resilience partners through the Campaign's official reporting tools. These tools correspond to distinct stages of partner engagement: the 4P Journey.

Submitted information by RtR Partners is processed through the Campaign's metrics framework to ensure consistency and comparability across diverse initiatives and geographies.

INTENDED USERS

The platform serves two primary user groups:

  • Campaign Partners: Non-State actors participating in the Race to Resilience who seek to understand their contributions within the broader Campaign context and track collective progress toward resilience goals.
  • External Stakeholders: Researchers, policymakers, funders, and civil society organizations interested in monitoring global progress on community-level climate resilience and the role of non-State actors in adaptation efforts.

PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT

The RtR Data Explorer is developed and maintained by the Technical Secretariat of the Race to Resilience Campaign, with technical support from the Center for Climate and Resilience Research at Universidad de Chile.
