Climate hazards are natural or human-induced events—such as storms, heatwaves, or rising sea levels—that can harm people, damage infrastructure, disrupt livelihoods, and affect ecosystems and the environment.
For the partners that reported in the 2025 Proceed stage, the most frequently mentioned climate hazards addressed through their actions were Increasing Temperatures, Coastal Flood, Flooding, Droughts, and Extreme Heat. These were followed by Cold Spell and Tropical Cyclones & Hurricanes, while River Flood, Landslides, Changing Precipitation, Wildfires, and Heatwaves were also commonly reported.
